Made for the Z4 E89 roadster across the 2.0T, 2.5 and 3.0 engine options, the BMW Z4 E89 Z Pipe replaces the restrictive factory section to give exhaust gases a smoother and freer path. Mandrel bent 304 stainless steel tubing holds a consistent bore from end to end, giving better flow along with lasting protection against heat, rust and road grime. Lower back pressure helps the engine respond more eagerly, with the turbo models gaining quicker boost and the naturally aspirated straight six versions revving more freely towards the redline. The BMW E89 Z Pipe also adds a richer sound, giving the four cylinder a fuller, sporty note and the six cylinder a smooth, classic howl that is especially enjoyable with the roof down. Precision flanges and neat TIG welds match the original mounting points for a straightforward bolt on fit with no cutting needed.
