- The SmarTrack S5PLUSiMOB features an internal backup battery that keeps it operational for up to 24 hours, even if the vehicle’s power is cut. So, even in the event of theft, the device can continue sending location data to the monitoring centre—ensuring uninterrupted protection.
- The SmarTrack S5PLUSiMOB automatically immobilises your vehicle once the engine is turned off, preventing unauthorised movement. Even if a thief manages to start the engine, they won’t be able to drive away. Only a registered Driver ID Bluetooth card can deactivate the immobiliser, adding a strong layer of security.
- The SmarTrack S5PLUSiMOB includes two Driver ID Bluetooth cards, each uniquely paired to your vehicle. These cards must be present for the engine to start, adding an extra layer of protection—so even if someone has your keys, they won’t be able to drive off without the authorised card.
- The SmarTrack S5PLUSiMOB has an emergency backup feature that allows you to start the vehicle even if the Bluetooth card is lost or the battery goes flat. To use this feature, you will need to call the monitoring centre and they will be able to start the vehicle for you.
