High grade 304 stainless steel with mandrel bent tubing keeps the bore smooth and consistent through every bend, improving flow while offering strong resistance to heat, rust and road salt. Lower back pressure helps the turbos respond quicker, giving the SUV a stronger pull when overtaking or towing and a more eager feel from low speeds. The BMW X5 Z Pipe also adds a richer sound, with the six cylinder models gaining a smoother straight six tone and the V8 picking up a deeper rumble, all without drone on long journeys. Precision flanges and clean TIG welds line up with the original mounting points for a direct bolt on fit with no cutting required.
