Designed for the M850i Convertible and Coupe, the BMW M850i Z Pipe replaces the restrictive factory section to let the N63 twin turbo V8 move exhaust gases more freely. High grade 304 stainless steel with mandrel bent tubing keeps the bore smooth and consistent through every bend, improving flow while handling the intense heat from the hot V turbo layout with ease. With back pressure reduced, the turbos respond quicker and the car pulls with more conviction, especially when accelerating out of corners or overtaking on the motorway. The BMW G14 G15 Z Pipe also gives the V8 a richer and more muscular voice, with a deep burble at low revs and a strong growl as the revs climb, which sounds even better with the roof down on the Convertible. Precision flanges and clean TIG welds line up with the original mounting points for a direct bolt on fit with no cutting required, making it ideal for further tuning.
