Engineered for the B58 3.0T straight six in the M140i, M240i, 340i and 440i, the BMW B58 Z Pipe replaces the restrictive factory section to let the engine breathe more freely. High grade 304 stainless steel with mandrel bent tubing keeps the bore smooth and even from end to end, improving flow while giving excellent resistance to heat and corrosion. With less back pressure, the turbo responds sooner, and the car pulls harder and cleaner all the way through the rev range. The BMW M140i M240i Z Pipe also brings out more of the classic straight six character, adding a crisp rasp under load and lively crackles on the overrun, while staying calm and drone free on the motorway. Precision flanges and clean TIG welds line up with the original mounting points for a direct bolt on fit with no cutting required, making it a perfect partner for a remap or further upgrades.
