High grade 304 stainless steel with mandrel bent tubing keeps the bore smooth and consistent through every bend, improving flow while standing up well to heat and corrosion. With back pressure reduced, the turbo builds boost sooner, so the petrol engine feels more eager when it joins the electric motor, giving the car a punchier response under hard acceleration. The BMW i8 1.5T Z Pipe also gives the three cylinder a richer, sportier growl, adding real character to a car that can sound a little too quiet from the factory, while staying refined during everyday use. Precision flanges and clean TIG welds line up with the original mounting points for a direct bolt on fit with no cutting required.
