Mandrel bent 304 stainless steel tubing holds a uniform bore around every curve, delivering cleaner flow and coping comfortably with heat, rust and road grime. Lower back pressure helps the turbo reach boost a little earlier, so when the petrol engine and electric motor work together, the car feels sharper and more immediate under hard acceleration. The BMW i8 Hybrid Z Pipe also gives the engine a more exciting voice, adding a deeper, raspier growl that better suits the car’s supercar looks, while staying smooth and quiet during relaxed driving. Precision flanges and neat TIG welds match the factory mounting points for a hassle free bolt on fit with no cutting needed.
