Made for the G30 and long wheelbase G38 5 Series, the BMW G30 G38 Z Pipe replaces the restrictive factory section to help the B48 2.0T and B58 3.0T engines move exhaust gases more efficiently. Mandrel bent 304 stainless steel tubing holds a consistent bore from end to end, giving smoother flow and lasting protection against heat, rust and road grime. Reduced back pressure lets the turbo build boost a little earlier, so the car feels more alert on the throttle and pulls with greater ease at motorway speeds. The BMW 530i 540i Z Pipe also adds depth to the sound, giving the four cylinder models a fuller note and the 540i a smooth, rich straight six tone, while the cabin stays quiet and comfortable on long journeys. Precision flanges and neat TIG welds match the original mounting points for a straightforward bolt on fit with no cutting needed.
