Made for the E60 5 Series 520i, 523i and 530i, the BMW E60 Z Pipe replaces the restrictive factory section to help the naturally aspirated engine breathe more easily. High grade 304 stainless steel with mandrel bent tubing keeps a smooth, consistent diameter through every bend, improving flow while standing up well to heat and corrosion, which is ideal for an older car. Reduced back pressure lets the engine rev more freely, giving sharper throttle response and a livelier feel as it climbs through the rev range. The BMW 523i 530i Z Pipe also adds a richer, smoother straight six tone under acceleration, giving the classic saloon more presence without any drone during long motorway journeys. Precision flanges and clean TIG welds line up with the original mounting points for a direct bolt on fit with no cutting required, making it a simple way to refresh and add character to the E60.
