VOLKSWAGEN TIGUAN R TSI 4MOTION SEMI-AUTO
Exciting Performance and a Strong Engine
The Volkswagen Tiguan R TSI 4Motion Semi-Auto is a sporty SUV built for strong performance and everyday flexibility. It’s powered by a turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder TSI engine producing 221 kW (300 PS) and 400 Nm of torque, delivering quick acceleration and sharp, responsive handling on the road. With the addition of a Volkswagen Tiguan R Exhaust upgrade, the vehicle now delivers a more engaging driving experience with improved sound and flow.
Smooth Shifting and All-Wheel Drive
This model features an 8-speed automatic transmission paired with Volkswagen’s 4Motion all-wheel-drive system, providing excellent traction and stability in a variety of driving conditions. With 0–60 mph achieved in around 5.9 seconds and a top speed of approximately 150 mph (242 km/h), the Tiguan R offers impressive performance for a practical SUV, now further enhanced by a refined Volkswagen Tiguan R Exhaust System.
Well-Balanced Size and Fuel Efficiency
Measuring around 4508 mm in length and 1839 mm in width, the Tiguan R offers a great balance between interior space and agile handling. With a kerb weight of approximately 1675 kg, it remains composed and controlled on the road. Fuel economy ranges between 28–33 mpg (imperial) with CO₂ emissions of around 193 g/km, making it a competitive option within the UK performance SUV market.
Performance Exhaust Upgrade
To further enhance the driving experience, a 3-inch valve controlled cat back exhaust system was fitted. This upgrade significantly improves exhaust gas flow and reduces back pressure, allowing the engine to perform more efficiently. The integrated valve control system provides flexibility, delivering a quiet and refined tone during normal driving while opening up to produce a deeper, more aggressive exhaust note when required. The result is sharper throttle response, improved sound quality, and a more dynamic and engaging drive that better reflects the Tiguan R’s performance capabilities.
