VAUXHALL CORSA S CDTI 93 ECOFLEX
Efficient Diesel Engineering
The Vauxhall Corsa S CDTI 93 Ecoflex, released in the early 2010s, is a super efficient diesel hatchback built with economy in mind. Powered by a 1.3 litre turbodiesel engine producing 93 PS and 190 Nm of torque, it delivers a strong balance of performance and efficiency. With a six speed manual gearbox and front wheel drive layout, it remains a practical choice for both urban and motorway driving, while also benefiting from a refined Vauxhall Corsa Exhaust setup.
Eco Friendly Performance
This Ecoflex variant achieves impressive fuel economy figures of up to 88.3 mpg combined, supported by start stop technology and low rolling resistance tyres to keep emissions low. Acceleration from 0 to 60 mph takes around 12 seconds, with performance suited to everyday use. The lightweight design and efficient Vauxhall Corsa Exhaust System help maintain smooth engine operation, making it ideal for commuting and city driving.
Competitiveness in Its Class
When compared with rivals such as the Ford Fiesta Econetic and Peugeot 208 BlueHDi, the Corsa S CDTI Ecoflex stands out for its efficiency focused engineering. Its aerodynamic design and optimised exhaust flow contribute to lower running costs while still delivering dependable performance within the supermini diesel segment.
DKU Performance Enhancements
This Vauxhall Corsa S CDTI 93 Ecoflex was assessed for an ECU remap to improve overall performance and drivability. By recalibrating the engine software, boost pressure, fuel delivery and torque output are optimised to deliver smoother power and improved throttle response. This results in stronger mid range performance and a more responsive drive. To complement these gains, a custom Vauxhall Corsa Exhaust upgrade from DKU Performance can further enhance exhaust flow, reduce back pressure and improve overall engine efficiency.
