SUBARU IMPREZA TERZO TURBO
Amazing Performance of the Subaru Impreza Terzo Turbo
The Subaru Impreza Terzo Turbo is a rare gem from the first generation Impreza Turbo lineup that debuted in 1998. Under the bonnet, it features a 2.0 litre turbocharged EJ20 boxer engine producing around 208 horsepower and 290 Nm of torque. Paired with a five speed manual transmission and Subaru's renowned all wheel drive system, it delivers the engaging rally inspired driving experience the Impreza is known for, now further enhanced with a refined Subaru Impreza Exhaust upgrade.
Eye Catching Design for Fans and Collectors
This special edition stands out with its distinctive Sonic Blue paintwork, gold 16 inch alloy wheels, and unique Terzo badging, making it highly desirable among enthusiasts and collectors. Weighing approximately 1250 kg, its compact chassis and balanced setup provide sharp handling and confident road holding, perfectly complementing the improved flow and sound from the upgraded Subaru Impreza Exhaust System.
Standing Out in the UK Performance Hatchback Scene
Among UK performance hatchbacks of its era, the Impreza Terzo Turbo competes with icons such as the Mitsubishi Evo and Ford Escort RS Cosworth. Its combination of turbocharged power, mechanical grip, and driver focused dynamics makes it a favourite for those who appreciate responsive, engaging performance on both road and track, now supported by improved exhaust efficiency and turbo response.
Upgrade with a Performance Exhaust Installation
A customer supplied single turbo Cobra downpipe was professionally fitted, along with a custom fabricated connection pipe to integrate seamlessly with the centre section. The installation utilised the correct 3 inch or 2.5 inch flange connection and a supplied gasket to ensure a secure and leak free seal. This upgrade significantly reduced restriction after the turbo, improving exhaust gas flow and allowing the engine to perform more efficiently. As a result, turbo response was sharpened, power delivery became smoother, and the vehicle gained a deeper, more aggressive exhaust tone.
