RENAULT LAGUNA COUPE
Distinctive Luxury Sports Coupe
The Renault Laguna Coupe is a unique luxury sports coupe that hit the market in 2008 as part of the third-generation Laguna series. With its sleek look and smooth driving experience, this model was available until 2012, combining elegance and performance in a stylish two-door ride. To enhance both sound and styling, a bespoke Renault Laguna Coupe Exhaust Upgrade was carried out, transforming the vehicle’s rear presence and overall driving character.
Powertrain and Performance Specifications
The Laguna Coupe comes with several engine options, including a standout 3.5 litre V6 petrol engine that produces 238 horsepower. It can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in around 7.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 245 kmh. Diesel options including the 2.0 litre and 3.0 litre V6 also offer a balance of efficiency and torque. To complement these engines, a centre resonator delete was completed alongside a custom straight through back box, allowing the Renault Laguna Coupe Exhaust System to flow more freely and deliver a sharper, more responsive drive.
Technical Data and Market Competition
The 3.5 litre V6 petrol variant delivers 238 PS and 320 Nm of torque, achieving 0 to 60 mph in 7.4 seconds with a top speed of 245 kmh. The coupe measures 4643 mm in length, 1811 mm in width, and features a 2690 mm wheelbase, with a kerb weight of approximately 1590 kg. Competing with models such as the BMW 3 Series Coupe and Audi A5, this example now stands out further thanks to its upgraded exhaust setup, improving flow, refining the exhaust note, and enhancing the rear aesthetics with larger upgraded tailpipe tips.
Performance Upgrades with DKU Performance
This vehicle was fitted with a custom stainless steel Renault Laguna Coupe Exhaust System, featuring a centre resonator delete and a bespoke straight through back box. This setup reduces back pressure, improves exhaust efficiency, and produces a deeper, more aggressive tone without compromising everyday usability. Finished with larger tailpipe tips, the upgrade delivers a more purposeful sound and a noticeably sportier appearance from the rear.
