RANGE ROVER DEFENDER TD XS STATION WAGON
Unmatched Off-Road Skills and Flexibility
The Range Rover Defender TD XS Station Wagon blends Land Rover’s renowned durability with everyday comfort and practicality, making it a dependable and versatile off-road vehicle. Powered by a 2.2L TDci turbo diesel engine producing around 150 PS and 360 Nm of torque, it delivers strong pulling power through a full-time four-wheel-drive system, making it well suited to both motorway driving and challenging terrain. This particular vehicle benefited from a bespoke Range Rover Defender Exhaust upgrade, designed to improve both performance and reliability.
Performance and Size Breakdown
With strong low-end torque, the Defender XS reaches 0–60 mph in approximately 12 seconds. Measuring around 4,785 mm in length, 1,996 mm in width, and 1,967 mm in height, it offers a commanding road presence and practical interior space. Weighing close to 2,100 kg and capable of towing up to 3,500 kg, it remains a highly capable utility vehicle while still achieving around 28 mpg (imperial). The upgraded Range Rover Defender Exhaust System enhances airflow, supporting smoother power delivery and improved engine efficiency across all driving conditions.
Standing Out in the Market
Compared with similar 4x4 vehicles, the Defender XS stands out for its combination of rugged off-road ability and everyday usability. It remains a popular choice for drivers who need toughness, reliability, and comfort in one capable package. With a custom exhaust solution in place, this model now offers a more refined and responsive driving experience while maintaining its core utility strengths.
Upgraded Exhaust System – Cat-Back Dual Exit Conversion
This Defender was fitted with a custom cat-back exhaust system featuring a dual exit rear setup, resolving previous exhaust concerns and improving overall performance. The upgrade replaces the factory system from the catalytic converter backwards, significantly improving exhaust flow and reducing back pressure. As a result, the turbo can spool more freely, throttle response is sharpened, and the engine breathes more efficiently.
The new dual exit configuration also enhances the vehicle’s appearance at the rear while delivering a deeper, more purposeful turbo diesel tone without compromising everyday drivability. Following installation, the vehicle returned for additional checks, confirming the system continued to perform as intended and providing complete peace of mind.
