MITSUBISHI COLT CZC TURBO
Compact Convertible Performance
The Mitsubishi Colt CZC Turbo, made between 2006 and 2008, is a small 2 door convertible with a peppy 1.5 litre turbocharged engine producing around 147 to 150 hp and 210 Nm of torque. With its front wheel drive setup and 5 speed manual gearbox, it delivers an engaging drive, with strong mid range performance once the turbo is spooled. This particular vehicle benefited from a Mitsubishi Colt CZC Turbo Exhaust upgrade, enhancing both sound and overall driving character.
Technical and Market Overview
Accelerating from 0 to 62 mph in approximately 8.1 to 8.4 seconds and reaching a top speed of around 126 to 127 mph, the Colt CZC Turbo offers lively performance in a compact package. Running on 205 45 R16 tyres, it achieves around 33 to 40 mpg combined, with CO2 emissions of 168 g km. In the UK market, it competes with other sporty compact convertibles such as the Peugeot 207 CC and MINI Convertible.
Performance Upgrades with DKU
To enhance the driving experience, this Colt CZC Turbo was fitted with a custom back box delete as part of a Mitsubishi Colt CZC Turbo Exhaust System upgrade. This modification removes the rear silencer section of the exhaust system, allowing exhaust gases to exit more freely. We improved exhaust flow, reduced back pressure, and delivered a sharper, more responsive feel from the turbocharged engine.
Exhaust Solutions Tailored to You
The back box delete transforms the sound of the Colt CZC Turbo, giving it a deeper, louder and more aggressive exhaust note that better matches its sporty character. Finished without an exhaust tip for a clean and subtle rear appearance, this setup focuses purely on performance and tone. The upgrade improves turbo efficiency and creates a more engaging and enjoyable drive, while maintaining a refined visual finish.
