The focus of this visit was to correct the sound profile through a carefully planned Mercedes C63 AMG exhaust upgrade, restoring depth while keeping the car loud and aggressive.

Powered by the iconic 6.2L V8 M156 engine producing up to 457 hp and 600 Nm of torque, the W204 C63 delivers serious rear wheel drive performance through its 7 speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT transmission. With both cats and the resonator removed, the existing Mercedes AMG exhaust setup became sharp and unrefined at higher RPM. To resolve this, a resonator was reintroduced to smooth out harsh frequencies, paired with custom back boxes designed to bring back the deep AMG tone while maintaining volume and presence.

With independent MacPherson strut front suspension, multi link rear suspension, and a kerb weight of 1655 kg, the C63 strikes a strong balance between comfort and performance. Competing with the BMW M3 and Audi RS4, it stands apart thanks to its large capacity V8 and unmistakable sound. By refining the Mercedes C63 AMG exhaust system with the correct resonator setup and bespoke rear silencers, the vehicle regains its premium sound character without the excessive rasp caused by a full delete setup.
