The Mercedes A45 AMG 4MATIC Auto is a sporty hatchback that blends everyday usability with serious performance. Powered by a turbocharged 2.0 litre four cylinder engine producing 310 kW and 500 Nm of torque, it is paired with an 8 speed dual clutch automatic transmission and the advanced 4MATIC+ all wheel drive system. To elevate the driving experience, a Mercedes A45 AMG Exhaust upgrade was carried out, focusing on improving both sound and flow from the rear section of the system.

Performance, Dimensions, and Efficiency
This AMG accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in around 3.9 seconds and reaches a limited top speed of 270 kmh. With a well balanced chassis and practical dimensions, it delivers sharp handling while remaining comfortable for daily driving. Following the Mercedes A45 AMG Exhaust System modification, we improved exhaust gas flow and reduced restriction, resulting in a more responsive and engaging driving feel without sacrificing refinement.

Exhaust and Customisation Opportunities with DKU Performance
To unlock more sound and performance, a mandrel bent back box delete was carried out on the Mercedes A45 AMG Exhaust System. This involved removing the rear silencer and replacing it with precision mandrel bent pipework, ensuring consistent internal diameter throughout the bends for smoother airflow.

This Mercedes A45 AMG Exhaust Upgrade reduces backpressure and allows exhaust gases to exit more efficiently. The result is a noticeably deeper, sharper exhaust tone under acceleration while maintaining comfort during steady driving. The transformation delivers a sportier and more aggressive sound profile that better reflects the vehicle’s performance capabilities.
