KIA SPORTAGE GT-LINE CRDI ISG CRDI GT-LINE ISG
Distinctive Compact SUV with Efficient Powertrain
The Kia Sportage GT-Line CRDI ISG is a well-balanced compact SUV, combining everyday practicality with an efficient 1.6-litre turbo diesel engine producing 114 PS and 280 Nm of torque. With Intelligent Stop-and-Go technology, it helps reduce fuel consumption and emissions, making it ideal for both city driving and longer motorway journeys. The 6-speed manual gearbox and front-wheel-drive setup deliver smooth, responsive performance suited to daily use.
Performance and Dimensions Tailored for Practicality
Capable of reaching 0 to 60 mph in around 9.7 seconds and a top speed of 109 mph, the Sportage offers dependable performance alongside comfort and space. Measuring 4480 mm in length, 1855 mm in width, and 1645 mm in height, it provides generous room for five passengers. Designed to meet Euro 6 emissions standards, it balances power and efficiency while keeping running costs manageable.
Tuning Potential and Exhaust Upgrades with DKU Performance
This Kia Sportage Exhaust System was brought in due to a severe restriction caused by a blocked DPF and underlying catalytic converter failure. During the advanced DPF Solution 3 cleaning process, particles were found within the cleaning fluid, confirming internal deterioration within the catalytic converter structure. As the material had weakened and broken apart, it restricted exhaust flow and created excessive back pressure within the Kia Sportage Exhaust.
The DPF was removed from the vehicle and professionally cleaned using specialist equipment. Once the cleaning process was complete, the compromised catalytic converter condition was identified and addressed, restoring proper exhaust gas flow throughout the system. This process resolved the restriction, reduced back pressure, and protected key components such as the turbocharger from further strain.
Efficient Drivability Meets Advanced Exhaust Solutions
With the Kia Sportage Exhaust System now operating correctly, exhaust gases can flow freely without obstruction. This improvement supports smoother acceleration, improved throttle response, and more efficient engine operation. Restoring the DPF and identifying the catalytic converter failure ensures long term reliability, better fuel efficiency, and consistent diesel performance across all driving conditions.
