However, it was clearly established and resolved that these rear section modifications alone would not deliver a noticeable sound improvement on this diesel model. With 147 kW and 450 Nm of torque, the Jaguar XF accelerates from 0–60 mph in around 8.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 140 mph. Its strong mid range torque makes it competitive with executive diesel saloons from Mercedes Benz, BMW, and Audi.
