The 2014 BMW 125D F20 PRE LCI is a powerful hatchback that perfectly blends performance and efficiency. It comes with a 2.0 litre turbocharged diesel engine producing 215 HP and 450 Nm of torque, paired with either a 6 speed manual or 8 speed automatic transmission. Capable of 0 to 62 mph in just 6.5 seconds and a top speed of 149 mph, it delivers strong performance while maintaining excellent diesel economy. This example was enhanced further with a BMW 125D Exhaust upgrade, improving both sound and overall driving character.

Sporty and Practical Size

With a sporty yet practical design, the 125D measures 4,324 mm in length, 1,766 mm in width and 1,421 mm in height. It comfortably seats five and offers 360 litres of boot space, expanding to 1,200 litres with the rear seats folded. Weighing around 1,465 kg and fitted with 205 50 R17 tyres, it achieves up to 48 mpg combined, with CO2 emissions of 129 g per km. As a pre facelift model, it retains the original styling and driving feel, now complemented by a refined BMW 125D Exhaust System modification.

Standing Out in the Sporty Compact Diesel Class

Compared with rivals such as the Audi A3 2.0 TDI and VW Golf GTD, the BMW 125D stands out thanks to its impressive torque output and rear wheel drive dynamics, making it a strong contender in the sporty compact diesel segment. With the addition of a custom exhaust setup, it now delivers a more engaging and distinctive presence both visually and acoustically.

Boosted Performance with Custom Exhaust Options

To enhance both sound and styling, a custom back box delete was carried out, improving exhaust flow and delivering a deeper and more aggressive tone under acceleration while maintaining everyday usability. The original twin exit layout on the left hand side was fully reworked to suit a new diffuser, converting the system into a true twin exit configuration with one outlet on each side.

The upgrade was completed with chrome bevelled edge exhaust tips inspired by the OEM 135i design, creating a cleaner and more balanced rear appearance. This BMW 125D Exhaust upgrade not only improves sound and response but also transforms the overall look of the vehicle, giving it a far more performance focused finish.
