But this luxurious car; C220 is known for its exquisite look. It is a complete manifestation of technology and provides the utmost comfort to its passengers. The C-Class engine lineup includes four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines with 48-volt mild-hybrid assistance to help boost efficiency. The base C 200 comes with a 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces 201bhp, but you can upgrade to the more powerful 2.0-litre C 300 with 254bhp. Mercedes’ executive saloon is powered by two diesel engines: the C 220 d, which generates 197 horsepower, and the C 300 d, which produces 261 horsepower. All of them have a nine-speed automatic transmission.
