HONDA CIVIC JORDAN EK9

Honda really is proud of its brainchild in form of the Civic Jordan EK9. However, straight-line performance isn’t everything. The EK9 has a limited-slip differential and is stripped down to keep the weight down. All of this adds up to an agile front-wheel-drive chassis that handles superbly, much like the Civic’s Integra Type-R cousin. EK9 Civics are the most sought-after of all Type-R Civics. Because they were never officially sold in the UK, there aren’t many on our roads. As a result, the rare import models that do appear aren’t exactly inexpensive. This 1997 example, for example, is on the market for £5750. The engine is a 1.6-litre B16B four-cylinder that produces 182bhp at 8200rpm. Tshat’ll get you from zero to sixty-two miles per hour in around six seconds.
