VAUXHALL VIVARIO 2.0 CDTI
Versatile and Efficient 2.0 CDTI Engine
The VAUXHALL VIVARO 2.0 CDTI is powered by a 2.0 litre four cylinder turbocharged diesel engine producing around 114 PS and 300 Nm of torque. Built for both commercial and personal use, it features a 6 speed manual gearbox, front wheel drive and a factory fitted Diesel Particulate Filter to meet emissions standards.
To restore reliability and performance, a complete DPF solution was carried out alongside a professional ECU remap and hydro cleaning process. This work resolved common restrictions within the Vauxhall Vivaro Exhaust System, improved exhaust flow and ensured the engine operates more efficiently and smoothly.
Performance and Fuel Economy Balance
With a 0 to 60 mph time of around 15 seconds and a top speed close to 99 mph, the Vivaro offers a practical balance of usable power and efficiency. However, when the DPF becomes restricted, performance and fuel economy can quickly decline.
By completing a full DPF solution and recalibrating the ECU, airflow through the Vauxhall Vivaro Exhaust was significantly improved and excess back pressure reduced. This allows the turbo to perform more effectively, delivering smoother acceleration, stronger pulling power and improved day to day fuel efficiency.
Competitive Specifications and Robust Build
Competing with vans such as the Ford Transit Custom and Renault Trafic, the Vivaro is known for its durability, practicality and dependable drivetrain. However, over time, carbon build up within the exhaust system can impact overall drivability.
The hydro cleaning process removed soot and carbon deposits from key exhaust components, restoring proper flow within the Vauxhall Vivaro Exhaust System. Combined with the ECU remap, this supports consistent performance under load and improves long term engine health.
Enhanced Vehicle Dynamics with DKU Exhaust Systems
Optimising the exhaust system is essential for maintaining the performance of the Vivaro 2.0 CDTI. By resolving DPF related issues and improving overall exhaust flow, the engine can operate with reduced strain and better efficiency.
The result is a more responsive and reliable vehicle, with smoother turbo delivery, reduced back pressure and improved drivability. This makes the van far better suited to demanding daily use, especially when carrying loads or covering long distances.
