SEAT LEON ECOMOTIVE SE TECH TDI
Efficient Diesel Performance
The SEAT Leon Ecomotive SE Tech TDI, introduced around 2014, is a highly efficient diesel hatchback powered by a 1.6 litre turbocharged inline 4 cylinder TDI engine. Producing around 108 to 110 hp and 250 Nm of torque, paired with a six speed manual gearbox and front wheel drive, it delivers a strong balance of everyday usability and excellent fuel economy. This platform also responds well to a SEAT Leon Exhaust upgrade, making it a great base for subtle performance improvements.
Performance and Economy Balance
This model remains a popular choice for drivers seeking low running costs without compromising reliability or practicality. With 0 to 60 mph in approximately 10.5 seconds and a top speed of around 124 mph, it offers confident performance for both urban and motorway driving, especially when paired with a refined SEAT Leon Exhaust System that improves overall flow and response.
Impressive Efficiency and Space
With strong fuel economy figures and low CO2 emissions, the Leon Ecomotive is designed to be a cost effective and environmentally conscious option. The estate version provides generous practicality, including a large boot capacity that makes it ideal for family use or long journeys.
Enhanced Driving with Custom Exhaust Upgrades
This SEAT Leon 1.6 TDI estate was enhanced with a bespoke DPF back SEAT Leon Exhaust upgrade, focusing on improving both sound and flow while maintaining daily comfort. The upgrade included a middle box delete to remove restriction and a custom fabricated rear back box, finished with larger diameter twin tailpipes inspired by the FR styling for a more aggressive appearance.
By removing the centre silencer and optimising the rear section, we improved exhaust gas flow and reduced back pressure. This allowed the turbo to operate more efficiently, delivering sharper throttle response, smoother power delivery, and a deeper, sportier exhaust tone without compromising the vehicle’s efficiency or drivability.
