PEUGEOT 308 GT THP S/S
Dynamic Compact Hatchback Performance
The 2015 Peugeot 308 GT THP S/S is a sporty compact hatchback that blends sharp styling with strong turbocharged performance. Powered by a 1.6 litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 205 PS and 285 Nm of torque, paired with a 6 speed manual gearbox and front wheel drive, it delivers responsive handling and an engaging drive both in town and on open roads.
Efficient Fuel Economy and Lively Performance
Equipped with Stop Start technology, the 308 GT offers an excellent balance between performance and efficiency. It delivers impressive fuel economy while still achieving 0 to 60 mph in around 7.5 seconds and a top speed of approximately 146 mph. This makes it a well rounded hot hatch that combines everyday usability with genuine driving enjoyment.
Practical Dimensions and Competitive Positioning
With a length of 4253 mm, width of 1804 mm, and a 2620 mm wheelbase, the Peugeot 308 GT provides a stable and composed ride. Boot capacity ranges from 420 to 1228 litres, offering strong practicality alongside its performance credentials. It competes confidently with other performance hatchbacks, delivering a refined yet sporty experience.
Unlocking Potential with Custom Exhaust Upgrades
Following an enquiry into improving the factory Peugeot 308 GT exhaust, the focus was on transforming the standard quiet tone into something deeper and more refined while keeping it comfortable for daily driving. The original Peugeot 308 GT exhaust system remains subdued in normal driving, only becoming slightly more noticeable in Sport mode, so a tailored solution was required.
Two custom stainless steel Peugeot 308 GT exhaust upgrade options were developed to meet these requirements. A valved rear section allows the driver to switch between a subtle everyday tone and a more pronounced sound when desired. For a more complete transformation, a full valve controlled cat back Peugeot 308 GT exhaust system was specified, significantly improving exhaust flow, enhancing turbo response, and delivering a richer, sportier note.
Both options resolve the lack of character in the standard setup, providing a controlled, deeper exhaust tone without unwanted cabin drone, resulting in a more engaging and refined driving experience.
