PEUGEOT 308 BLUEHDI
Peugeot 308 BlueHDi: The Go-Getter Hatchback
This Peugeot 308 BlueHDi came in with a Diesel Particulate Filter issue, a common problem for diesel vehicles used mainly for short journeys. The restriction within the Peugeot 308 Exhaust System was causing increased back pressure, reduced efficiency, and poor overall performance. A DPF Solution 2 service was carried out to fully clear the blockage and restore proper exhaust flow. As a result, we improved engine responsiveness, reduced strain on the turbo, and brought the Peugeot 308 Exhaust back to optimal working condition.
Engine and Gearbox Breakdown
The 308 BlueHDi is typically powered by a 1.5L diesel engine producing around 130 hp, paired with an 8 speed automatic gearbox and front wheel drive. This setup is designed for smooth torque delivery and strong fuel economy. With the DPF restriction resolved, the engine can now breathe freely again, allowing the exhaust system to operate efficiently and ensuring reliable performance across all driving conditions.
Specs and Market Comparison
Known for its excellent fuel economy and low emissions, the Peugeot 308 BlueHDi stands out in the hatchback segment. However, issues within the Peugeot 308 Exhaust System such as a blocked DPF can quickly impact these benefits. By resolving the restriction, we restored the vehicle’s efficiency, drivability, and emissions performance, bringing it back in line with manufacturer standards.
DKU’s Exhaust Upgrades and Performance Boosts
The Peugeot 308 Exhaust plays a key role in maintaining diesel performance and efficiency. By carrying out a DPF Solution 2 service, we significantly reduced exhaust back pressure and improved airflow through the system. This leads to smoother turbo operation, better throttle response, and a more refined driving experience, all while supporting long term engine health.
