Mitsubishi L200 Trojan DCB DI-D Overview

This Mitsubishi L200 Trojan DCB DI-D came in for performance enhancement, with a focus on improving both drivability and exhaust efficiency. Alongside ECU optimisation, attention was given to upgrading the Mitsubishi L200 Exhaust to better support the engine’s performance and overall capability.

Technical Specifications and Market Position

The L200 Trojan DI-D is powered by a 2.5 litre turbocharged diesel engine producing 173 bhp and 400 Nm of torque. To complement this, we carried out a Mitsubishi L200 Exhaust Upgrade, refining exhaust flow to reduce restriction and improve turbo efficiency. This resulted in stronger mid range pulling power, smoother acceleration and improved towing performance, making the vehicle more capable for both work and everyday use.

Efficiency and Standard Features

With the upgraded Mitsubishi L200 Exhaust System in place, the engine benefits from improved airflow and reduced back pressure. This enhances throttle response and allows the turbo to operate more efficiently, particularly under load. The result is a more responsive and refined driving experience without compromising reliability.

Enhance with DKU Performance Exhaust Systems

To complete the transformation, a custom stainless steel DKU Performance exhaust system was fitted. This upgrade not only improves durability but also delivers a deeper and more purposeful exhaust tone. The enhanced exhaust setup works seamlessly with the engine, providing a balanced combination of performance, efficiency and sound.
