Exhaust System Upgrade – Decat Modification

This Mercedes CLK270 Exhaust System was assessed for a performance focused decat upgrade, with a full inspection carried out prior to installation. The work involved planning the removal of the factory catalytic converter to improve exhaust gas flow and reduce back pressure, resulting in a more responsive and free flowing Mercedes CLK270 Exhaust.

Due to the age of the vehicle, common issues such as seized bolts and fixings around the catalytic converter were identified in advance. These challenges were accounted for during preparation to ensure a smooth and safe removal process without compromising surrounding components.
