MERCEDES-BENZ ML250 SPECIAL EDIT-N BLUETEC A
ENGINEERING EXCELLENCE AND ECO-FRIENDLY PERFORMANCE
The Mercedes-Benz ML250 Special Edition Bluetec is powered by a 2.1-litre four-cylinder turbodiesel engine producing 204 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, supported by a BlueTec emissions control system designed to meet Euro 6 standards. To resolve ongoing exhaust and emissions issues, a comprehensive DPF Solution 2 service was carried out on the Mercedes Benz Exhaust System. The AdBlue injector was found to be completely blocked, restricting the effectiveness of the after-treatment process. The injector was carefully removed and inspected, associated sensors were checked, and the catalytic converter downstream was examined, confirming no AdBlue contamination. This work restored correct exhaust flow and improved the efficiency of the Mercedes Benz Exhaust.
SMOOTH HANDLING AND ADVANCED TRANSMISSION
With its 7-speed automatic transmission and 4MATIC all-wheel drive system, the ML250 delivers smooth and controlled performance across a variety of driving conditions. By resolving faults within the exhaust and DPF system, restrictions were eliminated, allowing the engine to deliver consistent power and improved efficiency without interruption from blocked components.
SPACIOUS LUXURY AND PRACTICALITY
Measuring 4,804 mm in length and weighing approximately 2,150 kg, the ML250 offers a spacious five-seat interior trimmed in high-quality leather, air suspension with sport mode, and a generous 690-litre boot capacity. Ensuring the Mercedes Benz Exhaust System operates correctly helps maintain refinement, preventing warning lights and poor performance from affecting everyday comfort and usability.
EFFICIENCY AND PERFORMANCE EXHAUST UPGRADES
The ML250 Bluetec is capable of achieving up to 45.6 mpg combined (UK) when its emissions system is functioning correctly. As part of this service, the Diesel Particulate Filter, positioned before the AdBlue injector and known for its difficult access, was professionally cleaned using a specialist solution. This restored internal flow within the unit, reduced back pressure, and supported proper regeneration. Combined with resolving the blocked injector, this Mercedes Benz Exhaust work significantly improved overall system efficiency and long term reliability.
