LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER EVOQUE SD4 DYNAMIC
INTRODUCTION TO THE RANGE ROVER EVOQUE SD4 DYNAMIC
The Land Rover Range Rover Evoque SD4 Dynamic is a compact luxury SUV that blends strong diesel performance with everyday practicality. Powered by a 2.2 litre 4 cylinder turbo diesel engine producing 190 hp and 420 Nm of torque, it delivers confident acceleration and excellent pulling power. With the choice of manual or automatic transmission and a capable all wheel drive system, it offers dependable performance in a wide range of driving conditions.
PERFORMANCE AND DRIVING DYNAMICS
To enhance the overall driving experience, a DPF Solution 4 package was carried out, including a Stage 1 software upgrade along with EGR and DPF system modifications. This work focused on resolving a suspected DPF issue while significantly improving exhaust flow and reducing back pressure across the Range Rover Evoque Exhaust System.
By recalibrating the engine with a Stage 1 upgrade and optimising the Range Rover Evoque Exhaust, the vehicle now benefits from sharper throttle response, smoother power delivery, and more efficient engine performance. Addressing the EGR and DPF restrictions has also eliminated common faults such as warning lights, limp mode, and blocked filter issues often seen in diesel models.
DIMENSIONS AND MARKET POSITION
The Evoque measures 4355 mm in length, 1965 mm in width, and 1635 mm in height, with a 2660 mm wheelbase, offering a strong road presence in the compact luxury SUV segment. Known for combining premium comfort with genuine off road capability, it competes with models such as the Audi Q3 and BMW X1 while maintaining Land Rover’s signature versatility.
With the upgraded exhaust and software package in place, this Evoque SD4 Dynamic now delivers a more responsive and refined driving experience, better suited to both daily use and long distance driving.
DKU PERFORMANCE EXHAUST UPGRADES
As part of the DPF Solution 4 package, the exhaust system was a key focus. The work carried out on the Range Rover Evoque Exhaust improved gas flow efficiency and reduced restrictions caused by the factory fitted DPF and EGR systems. This resulted in improved drivability, better fuel efficiency, and a more consistent power curve throughout the rev range.
Exhaust upgrades and DPF solutions are particularly beneficial for diesel models like the SD4, helping to maintain long term reliability while unlocking safer and more usable performance gains from the 2.2 litre engine.
