The Ford Transit 290 Sport P/V L1 H1 is designed to deliver reliable performance for everyday commercial use. As part of this upgrade, a custom Ford Transit Exhaust System was supplied and fitted to enhance the way the engine breathes. By improving exhaust gas flow and reducing backpressure, we improved efficiency and throttle response from the 2.0L EcoBlue diesel engine while maintaining smooth and dependable performance for daily driving.

Adaptable Design and Dimensions

With its compact L1 H1 body and practical cargo capacity, the Transit is built for busy working environments. The custom Ford Transit Exhaust was carefully designed and fabricated to suit the van’s layout, ensuring a precise fit without compromising ground clearance or load space. This allows the vehicle to retain full usability while benefiting from a more refined and responsive drive.

Potential for Enhanced Performance

Following installation, we improved overall drivability by optimising exhaust flow and reducing restriction within the system. This enables the turbocharger to operate more efficiently, resulting in smoother acceleration and improved response under load. The upgrade makes the van feel more capable whether in stop start city use or on longer motorway journeys.

A bespoke stainless steel exhaust system was custom built and installed, delivering long term durability and improved performance over the factory setup. By increasing airflow and removing restrictive elements, we enhanced both sound and efficiency, giving the Transit a deeper, more purposeful tone while maintaining comfort and practicality for everyday use.
