DKU Performance Exhaust Upgrades
For this BMW X5 M50i, a full DKU Performance exhaust solution was developed focusing on maximising flow and delivering a more aggressive V8 sound. A primary catalytic converter straight through system was installed, opening up the exhaust directly from the turbos and significantly reducing restriction and back pressure.

In addition, a secondary OPF back exhaust upgrade was carried out to further enhance sound output and overall tone, creating a deeper and more pronounced exhaust note while maintaining refinement during normal driving. To support these changes, OPF deleter modules were integrated to ensure correct system operation and prevent warning lights when modifying the factory OPF setup.

These upgrades transformed the vehicle by improving turbo spool, sharpening throttle response, and delivering a much more engaging and powerful exhaust sound, fully unlocking the character of the twin turbo V8.
