Performance & Exhaust Enhancements
This BMW E61 535D Exhaust Upgrade focused on improving airflow, efficiency, and overall performance. The BMW E61 535D Exhaust System was modified with the DPF and catalytic converter professionally gutted, significantly reducing back pressure and allowing the engine and turbochargers to operate more efficiently.
To support the increased airflow, a larger intercooler was installed alongside upgraded turbochargers, improving charge air cooling and boosting capability. A custom calibration was then carried out to suit the hardware changes, safely increasing power from the standard 272 hp to an estimated 350 to 400 hp range.
These combined upgrades transformed the vehicle’s driving characteristics, delivering stronger mid range torque, sharper throttle response, and a smoother yet more aggressive power delivery. The BMW E61 535D Exhaust plays a key role in this setup, producing a deeper and more purposeful exhaust tone while enhancing overall engine efficiency.
