BMW 316i SE Touring Overview
The BMW 316i SE Touring is a compact estate that focuses on practicality and everyday usability while still delivering the familiar BMW driving feel. Custom Exhaust System Repair and Enhancement
This BMW 316i SE Touring featured a partially upgraded BMW 316i Exhaust setup, including a stainless steel downpipe and rear back box. However, due to the vehicle running at a very low ride height, the centre section had been severely damaged after repeated contact with the road surface.

To resolve this, a fully custom stainless steel centre section was fabricated and installed to restore the integrity of the BMW 316i Exhaust System. Measuring approximately 1.5 metres, the new section was carefully formed with two precise bends to ensure correct routing and improved ground clearance. A mid mounted hanger was also added to provide additional support and stability, preventing excessive movement under load.

This targeted repair reinstated smooth exhaust flow between the existing components, improved overall durability, and ensured the system sits securely despite the lowered stance. The result is a stronger, more reliable exhaust setup that maintains performance, enhances longevity, and delivers a refined exhaust note.
