AUDI Q5 2.0 TDI
Audi Q5 2.0 TDI Overview
The Audi Q5 2.0 TDI is a classy SUV that hit the scene in the mid 2010s. It combines strong performance with impressive fuel efficiency, powered by a 1.968 litre turbo diesel engine producing between 143 to 177 PS and delivering 320 to 380 Nm of torque. Paired with a seven speed dual clutch transmission and Audi quattro all wheel drive system, it offers smooth gear changes, confident grip, and a refined driving experience.
Performance and Efficiency Balance
Capable of accelerating from 0 to 62 mph in around 7.4 seconds, the Q5 balances performance with long distance capability. Its diesel efficiency allows for excellent range per tank, making it ideal for both motorway cruising and daily driving. With a solid build and a weight of around 1880 kg, it remains a strong contender in the luxury compact SUV segment.
Market Position and Competitors
In the UK market, the Audi Q5 competes with models such as the BMW X3, Mercedes Benz GLC, and Volvo XC60. While all offer premium comfort and diesel performance, the Q5 stands out with its quattro drivetrain and smooth, torque rich engine delivery.
Performance Enhancements and Exhaust System
This Audi Q5 2.0 TDI received a series of carefully selected upgrades focused on improving both performance and reliability. A professional ECU remap was carried out, delivering increased torque, sharper throttle response, and a more responsive driving experience across the rev range.
As part of the upgrade, the DPF system was addressed to resolve restriction issues and improve overall exhaust flow. This work significantly enhanced the efficiency of the Audi Q5 Exhaust System, allowing the engine to breathe more freely and operate more smoothly under load.
The original Audi Q5 Exhaust was amended and upgraded with DKU black RS style oval tailpipes, transforming the rear appearance with a more aggressive and refined finish while maintaining an OEM style fit.
To further support engine condition, a hydrogen clean was completed to remove built up carbon deposits. This resulted in smoother engine operation, improved combustion efficiency, and a cleaner running vehicle overall.
Together, these upgrades delivered a noticeable improvement in performance, drivability, and exhaust flow, creating a more refined yet responsive Audi Q5 that better reflects its premium design.
