The Lexus LS430, made between 2001 and 2006, is a top tier luxury saloon known for its smooth ride, reliability, and refined V8 performance. Powered by a 4.3 litre V8 engine with 32 valves and variable valve timing, it produces 290 hp and 434 Nm of torque, delivering effortless acceleration and quiet cruising. Paired with a 5 speed automatic transmission and rear wheel drive, it offers a composed and comfortable driving experience.

The LS430 can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in around 6.3 seconds while maintaining fuel economy between 18 and 25 mpg depending on driving style. To enhance this platform further, a bespoke Lexus LS430 Exhaust System was developed to resolve common corrosion issues and bring out a more engaging exhaust note while maintaining luxury refinement.
Exhaust Solutions
This LS430 arrived with a heavily corroded factory exhaust, including split and rusted flanges between the catalytic converters and the downstream pipework, causing leaks and reduced efficiency. The damaged sections were removed, and new flanges were fabricated and fitted to the catalytic converters before securely refitting the system to restore a solid, leak free connection.
From this point back, a custom stainless steel X pipe Lexus LS430 Exhaust was designed and installed. The system features dual rear back boxes with an integrated valve control setup, allowing seamless switching between a quiet, refined tone and a louder, sharper V8 sound when opened. The original oxygen sensor locations were retained to ensure proper engine management, emissions control, and correct back pressure. The completed system delivers improved durability, enhanced exhaust flow, and a more versatile sound profile suited to both daily driving and spirited use.
