The EA888 GEN3 IHI IS turbochargers have a muffler in the compressor housing which resonates the turbocharger noise and creates turbulence in the airflow. This results in reduced airflow and performance, especially in high performance applications.

This product is suitable only for EA888 GEN 3 engines.
